A Ryanair flight from Milan to Manchester declared an emergency over UK.
Ryanair flight FR6817 departed Milan Wednesday, January 1 2025 at 12:52 CET to Manchester.
While cruising over London at 38,000 ft, pilots squawked 7700 (general emergency) before starting the approach.
The Boeing 737-800 (registration 9H-QFB) started a quick descent over London and diverted to London Stansted Airport less than 2 hours into the flight.
The airline is confirming the diversion but the reason is still unknown, we’ll update this article when necessary.
