A Southwest Airlines flight from Houston to Phoenix was forced to return to the gate after a passenger stripped naked and began screaming before takeoff on Monday afternoon.

Video taken by a passenger shows the woman completely undressed, walking up and down the aisle while yelling.

The flight from Hobby Airport in Houston was delayed for over an hour.

The Houston Police Department said in a statement to NBC News on Thursday that it received a call at 3:30 p.m. CT on Monday that “a passenger took off her clothes on a flight and was causing a disturbance.”

In a statement, Southwest Airlines confirmed the incident as it apologized to passengers for the bizarre disruption.

On the 6th of March 2025, two deer entered the area near the runways at New Chitose Airport (CTS), forcing both runways to be closed to ensure safety just after 10 a.m.

A pair of wayward deer forced the operator of Hokkaido’s New Chitose Airport to close both runways for almost an hour. The trespassing animals were eventually driven off the grounds.

The operator said four flights diverted to other airports and 3 had to make go around.

Virgin Atlantic flight VS3 departed London Heathrow today at 08:51 GMT to New York JFK Airport.

The Airbus A350-1000 (registration G-VPOP) climbed to 38,000 ft from runway 27R. But hours into the flight and while being only few miles from Canada’s coast, the pilots decided to turn around.

The crew declared an emergency (squawk 7700) 8 hours after departure, while entering UK’s airspace due to hydraulic fault and steering issues.

An Aerolíneas Argentinas aircraft suffered a malfunction while operating flight AR1648 and had to make an emergency landing in Ezeiza Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE), Argentina  .

The incident involved a Boeing 737-800 (registration LV-FRK) that had departed from Buenos Aires Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP) bound for Neuquén.

The incident occurred on 05 March 2025 afternoon and mobilized the Ezeiza airport authorities to attend the emergency situation that also led to minor fire on the airport field.

As per sources, the captain detected malfunction with one of the engines and immediate loss of power.

He followed the safety protocol and diverted to Ezeiza for a safe landing on Runway 11, also leading to a Runway closure.

Wednesday March 5th, an incident occurred on the apron of Milan Malpensa Airport. A catering truck violently hit an aircraft that was supposed to operate the Latam flight to Sao Paulo, Brazil. 

The incident happened around 11.30 during the “turn around” and refueling of the Boeing 777-300 (registration PT-MUE).

South Korean fighter jets accidentally bombed homes during a live-fire drill with US forces, injuring more than a dozen people, Seoul’s military said on Thursday.

Eight MK-82 general-purpose bombs were “abnormally dropped” from two KF-16 fighter jets and landed outside the designated firing range at approximately 10:07 a.m. local time, hitting civilian infrastructure in Pocheon city, northeast of the capital Seoul, according to the South Korean Air Force.

South Korea’s defense ministry said initial findings indicated the accident was caused by a pilot inputting incorrect bombing coordinates.

The blasts destroyed two residential buildings, part of a church, and a truck.

The aircraft were participating in a joint live-fire exercise with the South Korean Army and the US military, related to the annual joint US-South Korea “Freedom Shield” military drills, the South Korean Air Force told CNN, without providing further details.

The air force apologized that the “abnormal bomb release has caused civilian damage” and wished the injured a swift recovery.

The Bureau of Meteorology warns Tropical Cyclone Alfred is expected to make landfall between the Gold Coast and southern parts of the Wide Bay region as a category two cyclone early Friday.

Jetstar, Qantas and Virgin Australia cancelled all flights in and out of Ballina Byron Gateway Airport on Wednesday and Thursday – a total of 22 flights that were scheduled to arrive or depart the holiday hotspot.

Gold Coast Airport will close as of 4pm local time on Wednesday. There will be no access to the terminal building, with people seeking shelter directed to the closest evacuation centre (Burleigh Waters Community Centre). A reopening time has not been announced.

Qantas Group said its airlines, including Jetstar, will not operate any flights to and from the Gold Coast for at least 24 hours after the airport is closed.

On Tuesday, March 4, Sébastien Lecornu published on his X account a video taken last Sunday of a Russian SU-35 fighter plane approaching a French Reaper drone “on a surveillance mission in international airspace over the Eastern Mediterranean.”

In the message posted with the video, the Minister of French Defense describes the three successive passes of the Russian aircraft “in close proximity” as “dangerous behavior” which “could have led to the loss of control of the drone” and “demonstrating a desire to restrict free air traffic in common areas.”
